Whistleblower Hotline

Carolina Farm Credit and its directors, officers and employees are committed to conduct business in accordance with the highest standards of honesty, integrity, impartiality, and conduct by directors, employees, and agents of our Association. We believe this is essential to ensure the proper performance of the Association's business and continued public confidence in the Association and the Farm Credit System. It is the policy of the Association that all of its directors,  employees, and agents shall observe the highest standards of conduct in the discharge of their duties and responsibilities, and they shall conduct themselves at all times in a manner becoming to their respective positions.

Carolina Farm Credit takes very seriously the importance of detecting and preventing fraud and loss, and preventing unethical behavior. To encourage the reporting of suspected wrongdoing without fear of retaliation, the Association has established an independent third party to facilitate a Whistleblower Program.

If you suspect unethical behavior or fraud, you may file an anonymous report with our program administrator:

Protections for Those Making Reports

Our administrator maintains the confidentiality of those who wish to make reports. Those who wish to make reports are also free to make allegations anonymously, but should be aware that anonymous allegations may lack the specificity needed for an accurate or conclusive investigation by our Audit Committee.  All reports are referred to our Audit Committee for investigation.

We are prohibited by Federal law and regulations from exercising reprisal and retaliation against those reporting wrongdoing. For more information, please research the No Fear Act and the Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act. However, it is important to note that action may be taken against an individual for knowingly making a false complaint or providing false information.
