Join us as we delve into how to make the best post-harvest handling infrastructure improvements on your farm to increase efficiency and food safety and to meet wholesale buyer requirements. We will talk about options for pre-cooling produce; on-farm cold-storage; and mobile cooling; cleaning, washing, and sanitizing produce; drying; curing; long-term storage; and how to fund your infrastructure improvements. At each workshop, we'll head down the road to a farm or food hub to take a tour after lunch.
Time: Onsite registration is from 8:30 – 9 a.m. for each workshop; Workshops are from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
