My name is Sarah Justice and I am a Loan Officer Intern in the Rural Hall office. I am currently a senior at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (Aggie Pride!) I will be graduating this December with my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science.
I have always been interested in agriculture and trying to learn as much as I can about every aspect of it. From how to raise different crops and livestock, to the way each farmer manages his/her business and what it takes to do so.
Within my first week I have already been on a tour to a dairy goat farm in Cleveland, NC! I also had the chance to go out and see a home build site in progress and do an inspection with a loan officer. I have learned a lot so far about this organization and the different types of loans and services that Carolina Farm Credit has to offer.
All of the interns came together this past week to discuss our summer project and in the next two weeks all of us with be attending Core Academy and traveling to Columbia, South Carolina to visit AgFirst Bank. I can’t wait to see where the rest of this journey takes me!
