We're looking for 100+ volunteers to help make the 2019 Piedmont Farm Tour (April 27-28) happen!
Volunteers staff the registration table at one of our 41 participating farms, spread from Alamance to Franklin counties. Most volunteer shifts are from 1:30 - 6 p.m., but there are early and late shifts at 16 kick-off farms. Check out this year's farm tour map [carolinafarmstewards.z2systems.com].
- Limited edition farm tour t-shirt featuring beets
- Free pass to take the tour on the day you're not volunteering (good for a carload of family + friends!)
- Warm fuzzies of sharing a weekend immersed in sustainable agriculture with other locavores
- Baby goat access*
Ready to sign up? [carolinafarmstewards.z2systems.com] Choose your day, then choose your farm (listed in alphabetical order; all the early shifts are first), and click "sign up." You'll need to enter your email address, but you don't need to create an account. Signup.com will send you automated reminders, and we'll send you more complete information about volunteering about a week before the tour. Finding last-minute fill-in volunteers is tough; please only sign up for a shift you're reasonably sure you can make.
Please let us know if you have questions, and thank you for supporting sustainable local farms!
