STATESVILLE, NC – Carolina Farm Credit, its employees, and board members donated $5,000 to the USO of North Carolina. The $5,000 donation will provide 45 days of food, beverages, and personal care items to approximately 17,000 service members and military family members that visit the USO centers in North Carolina.
The USO of NC spends 93% of all donations on direct programs or services for military men and women, and has been ranked as a 4-star nonprofit for the third year in a row with Charity Navigator, making the top 20% of all nonprofits in the country.
The United Service Organizations of North Carolina (USO of NC), founded in 1941, is the lead organization charged with supporting military servicemen and women in the state of North Carolina.
