2018 Director Election Results Announced

STATESVILLE, NC – Carolina Farm Credit completed the 2018 director election by mail on October 10th.  The members elected to serve are E. Bernard Beck (5 year term), and Joseph A. Lail (5 year term).

E. Bernard Beck, of Seagrove, N.C. is a full time farmer whose operation consists of hay, and a cow/calf operation.  In addition to farming, Mr. Beck serves on the Randolph County Voluntary Agricultural District Board. He is a member of the Randolph County Livestock and Poultry Improvement Association, North Carolina Agribusiness Council, and Oakley Baptist Church. 

Joseph A. Lail, of Shelby, N.C. is a full time farmer whose operation consists of Corn, Wheat, Soybeans, and Beef Cattle.  Mr. Lail is a member of the North Carolina Cattlemen’s Association, and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.  Mr. Lail also serves on the Cleveland County Farm Bureau Board of Directors.

In late October, the board will hold an organizational meeting to appoint committee members and elect the chairman and vice-chairman.
